B.TECH. LATERAL ENTRY 2011 (GENERAL) SPOT ADMISSION
A few seats under GENERAL category are vacant in B.Tech. Lateral Entry Programme offered by Cochin University of Science and Technology. A spot admission will be conducted to fill up these vacancies on 03-08-2011 at 10.00 a.m. at Kunjali Marakkar School of Marine Engineering, Thrikkakara. Interested candidates in the rank list (Lateral Entry 2011) should report for counselling/admission on the date, time and venue mentioned above with all documents in original and the required fee. Candidates in the waiting list will be given preference for admission if there are vacancies in the respective branches.
Eligibility Criteria: Candidates with Diploma awarded after undergoing a regular course of 3 years’ duration recognized by the Board of Technical Education of States, with not less than 60% marks, will be considered for admission to the B.Tech. programme through Lateral Entry Scheme. The maximum age prescribed is 25 years as on 1st July 2011.

Interested candidates in the above category who have passed Diploma (three year duration) or equivalent examination should report for counselling/admission on the date, time and venue mentioned above with all documents in original and the required fee. Candidates in the waiting list will be given preference for admission if there are vacancies in the respective branches. The maximum age prescribed is 25 years as on 1st July 2011
