About Anchorage 2015.

Anchorage is a national level multi event, organised by the Society of Naval Architecture Students, Department of Ship Technology, Cochin University of Science And Technology since 1989. It is three days of fun and frolic where a lot of talent comes together from all around the world. The cultural extravaganza now has a facelift! It comes back as a new and scaled up techno-cultural cum management.

What has transpired is to be left behind, but recorded it will be, as history! In time, Anchorage has stamped its mark as one of the oldest mass cultural/technical and management festival. Since 1989 a huge talent inflow has been gauged during Anchorage.

Anchorage showcases the technical ingenuity, management capabilities and cultural splendour of the best minds of the nation. A fit of ecstasy will engulf the city on the 9th, 10th and 11th of January 2015 ! Sporting the LARGEST MARITIME EXPO and PRO SHOW Cochin has ever seen, Anchorage provides a visual and intellectual feast during these three days.

As engineers we have a responsibility to our society and fellow engineers in shaping the future of our country. Anchorage strives in familiarizing the common people with new and cutting edge technology.Anchorage is bent on bringing about productive changes in society through knowledge campaigns, eco-friendly initiatives and social awareness programs.All together Anchorage carves out bright young minds for a brighter tomorrow.

Cine awards.

Campus cine choice awards for new generation films will be distributed as part of ‘Anchorage’, the techno-cultural fest organised by Department of Ship Technology at Cochin University of Science and Technology on Friday. Students in various colleges were given the option to vote for their favourite actors and technicians online. Some of the categories include best filmmaker, actor, actress, movie, cinematographer and music director. Cast your votes at http://www.campuscineawards.com/
