Cochin University of Science and Technology (CUSAT) receives an A grade in NAAC Accreditation. The Accreditation Results of institutions approved by the 17th Standing Committee-16th September, 2016 gave the grade in 2nd Cycle of their evaluation.

NAAC ranked Cusat based on its

CUSAT’s accreditation expired in 2011. In 2014, it applied again for the accreditation. However, it lapsed and the NAAC team didn’t visit the university. CUSAT authorities delayed applying for NAAC accreditation due to confusion on whether Cusat would be given the Indian Institute of Engineering Science and Technology (IIEST) status.
