Branch change 2015 – CUSAT CAT 2014 Applicants

Instructions.

  1. College/Branch transfer is applicable only for First year students (2014 admissions) of the various B Tech branches of School of Engineering(SOE), Thrikkakkara and Cochin University College of Engineering Kuttanadu(CUCEK) Pulinkunnoo.
  2. Students who have completed first and second semester courses and have appeared for the first year examinations and are eligible for promotion to the third semester will only be considered for the above College/Branch transfer.
  3. The transfer shall be based on the CAT 2014 rank of the candidate, subject to the availability of vacancy in the concerned College and branch. Candidates without a valid CAT 2014 rank are not eligible to apply.
  4. The transfer shall have prospective effect only and shall be effective from the third semester onwards. There shall not be any refund of fee / deposit paid in any case of transfer.
  5. Subject to availability of vacancies, one seat in each branch will be reserved Kerala Scheduled/Kerala Scheduled Tribe candidates. If there are no applicants belonging to Kerala Scheduled Caste/Kerala Scheduled Tribe category, such seats will be given to other candidates based on their CAT 2014 rank.
  6. Interested students should apply online through the web site http://iraa.cusat.ac.in/bc2015/ from 25-03-2015 10.00 am to 10-04-2015, 03.00 pm using their Register Number and Roll No of CAT 2014.
    Students can exercise a maximum of six options in the order of preference. Students are allowed to change their options at any time till the last date in the website. However, the options in the hard copy received in this office through the Principal will be considered as final.
  7. The printout of the application duly signed by the student, along with a self-attested copy of the admission card and identity card should be submitted to the Principals of concerned Institutions on or before 10-04-2015 4.00 pm.
  8. The students should submit only one application form to the office of the Principal. If more than one form is received by the concerned Principal, he will ensure that only one application is forwarded to the University.
  9. The printout of the filled applications, duly forwarded by the Principal of the School/College concerned should reach The Director, Unit for International Relations and Academic Admissions, CUSAT, Kochi-22 on or before 18-04-2015, 5 PM. Late and incomplete applications/applications not forwarded by the concerned Principal will be summarily rejected.
