To make Orkut interactive and increase users involvement, they have added a new feature called Orkut Badges. Orkut badge is actually a reward for users for their loyalty and contribution on Social network.
What is Orkut Badge?
Such Badges were seen before on Plurk, which offered badges for active users and similarly it is given on Orkut too. Based on the age of your account, contribution on Community Forums, Number of Active Communities you own and many m0re.

Early User Badge : Has been using Orkut for more than 5 years
Graduate badge : Uses most of Orkut’s features
Master : Has mastered Orkut’s most advanced features
Millionaire Community Badge: Owns a community with more than a million members
Promoter Badge: Created a Promotion that was seen by most of the users
Trend Setter :Activities receives comments from many friends
Super User : Helped many users on Orkut Help forum
Strong Contributor : Helped Orkut team to make Orkut better for everyone
How to add Orkut Badges to Profile?
You have to earn them, As mentioned the criteria above- You will be rewarded a badge automatically. Only key is to be active on Orkut and you will be notified when you get one. You can manage Badges right from your Profile using Link under Bio. So, go on try to collect as many as you can to show-off your friends!
