CUSAT if upgarded to IIEST will lose its present status: Baby Thiruvanathapuram, Nov 25 : Kerala Education Minister M A Baby today said the government had not favoured the Centre’s proposal for upgrading the Cochin University of Science and Technology (CUSAT) to an Indian Institute of Engineering Science and Technology (IIEST) as it only meant downgrading the institute to the level of a regional engineering college.
