As part of Dhishna 2013 an Photography contest is launched which is named as “Foto de Aqua”
Theme – ‘Water-The Elixir of Life’
Judging Criteria: The winner would be decided as per Likes for the photograph on event’s Facebook page as on 20th February 2013 (weightage-50%) and Assessment by the event judge (weightage-50%)
Prize: The winner gets a prize money of Rs.3000 in addition to privilege pass for Dhishna’13 cultural nites and Dhishna’13 T-shirt

Rules:
- Foto de Aqua, Dhishna ‘13 Online Photography Competition will take place from 31st January to 10th February 2013
- Participants can only submit one photograph for the competition.
- Photograph in ‘jpg’ format along with a suitable caption is to be submitted to [email protected] with the subject of the e-mail being “Photo Entry”. It should also include name of the contestant and the college,a link to his/her facebook profile and contact no.
- The resolution of the submitted photo should be greater than 8 megapixels
- Essential editing such as cropping and brightness/contrast adjustment are allowed. Watermarking of photo is not permitted. Watermarked/poor resolution photos will be disqualified.
- are not allowed to remove EXIF information from the photos. Photos without EXIF info would be disqualified
- Photographs not found relevant to the theme and found to be the intellectual/Creative Property of someone would be disqualified.
- By entering a photo in the competition the participant certifies that the image is his/hers and that he/she owns the copyright of the photograph.
- The selected entries would later be uploaded in the DHISHNA facebook page(www.facebook.com/dhishna.cusat) album ‘Foto de Aqua’ by 11th February 2013 and then the voting starts.
