CUSAT Ranked 3rd in the State and 55th best in Nation

Cochin University and Science and Technology has been ranked 3rd in Kerala, and 55th in the whole nation among Engineering Institutions. The rankings have been provided National Institutional Ranking Framework (NIRF) which is approved by MHRD and launched by Honorable Minister of Human Resource Development on 29th September, 2015. According to the list the top Institutes in India are,

1. Indian Institute Of Technology, Madras
2. Indian Institute Of Technology, Bombay
3. Indian Institute Of Technology, Kharagpur

and the top institutes in Kerala are,

1. Amrita School Of Engineering (Ranked 31)
2. National Institute Of Technology, Calicut (Ranked 35)
3. Cochin University Of Science And Technology-Cochin (Ranked 55)

The rankings are based on “Teaching, Learning and Resources”, “Research and Professional Practices”, “Graduation Outcomes”, “Outreach and Inclusivity” and “Perception” from 2012 to 2015 academic years.
