The Toc-H Institution of Science and Technology (TIST) has secured first position consecutively for the second time among 26 engineering colleges under Cochin University of Science and Technology (Cusat) in final year B Tech exams.
According to TIST Vice Principal Prof Babu John, the students of TIST had come out with flying colours in their final year engineering exams and the institution was able to retain its top position with a gross score of 70 percentage. “Apart from the excellent overall performance of the institution, six students have secured top ranks in the first ten.
The institution got two second ranks in civil engineering and electrical engineering, sixth and ninth in mechanical branch, ninth and tenth ranks in civil engineering,” he said. The rank holders were Parvathi S, Archana Manuel, Rahul KK, Don Mathew Palett, Annu Ana Alex and Theja S N.
