A spot Counseling and admission to the vacant seats in the General Payment
category of B.Tech Marine Engineering programme in Cochin University of
Science & Technology will be held on the 3rd
of September 2010 at the Hindi
Department Auditorium, CUSAT Thrikkakkara Campus (near SBT), Kochi
682022. Counselling and admission to vacancies which are likely to arise in
the NRI category of the above branch will also be conducted on the same day.
The minimum eligibility for the above programme is a pass in the plus-two
examination with 60% for Mathematics, Physics & Chemistry (MPC) and a
separate 50% for Mathematics. Also candidates should have passed English at
10th or 12th Standard with 50% marks.. Candidates in the waiting list of MR1P
GEN category who report on the above date will be given preference. Interested
Candidates should report for the spot counseling along with their parents at
the venue mentioned at 11:00 AM with the following documents in original and
the required fee:
1. Plus-two mark lists/Certificate
2. S.S.L.C certificate/certificate to prove age & date of birth
3. Community/Caste Certificate
4. Transfer Certificate
5. Conduct Certificate
6. Medical Certificate issued by a Doctor approved by DG shipping. (see

7. Two passport size photograph of the candidate
Selected candidates should pay the required fee on the day of spot
counseling/admission. Candidates should also submit two sets of attested
