Unlike many other states in India, our state is rich in natural beauty. There are several places of scenic beauty, but most of us are not aware of its beauty as we see it everyday. Only when others tell about our place, we did realize its beauty. But the sad thing is that we are destroying its natural beauty day by day. Most of the places I know are more beautiful than Cochin, but tourists often visit Cochin. The greatest advantage of Cochin over other places is that people find Cochin easily accessible. Thanks for the airport and railway system. The hotels and other facilities are also good here and that makes a huge difference. I often wondered what is there to see in Fort Cochi and Mattancherry. A few weeks before I got its answer. The places look different when viewed through a camera lens. My statement doesn’t mean the place is beautiful only in photos. If we look for beauty, we can find it from anywhere. My Mattancherry-Fort Cochi trip was not in vain. I found these places rich in culture and at the same time beautiful.
