Into the world of ENGINEERS…..!!!!!!!

As anyother student orf my age i m very much in front of computer for browsing, fb,and some other offline activities. when joined CUSAT for engineering, 1st year i had papers from all the core engineering branches……….. “out of all computer programming was starkly tough for me ” -a common dialogue by every (bio-maths ) engineering student. i was then wondering how am i gonna end up as an IT proffesional??.. even concluded “my branch choice is not gonna work”..
After an year when i was moved completely to my department(department of INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY). Now the papers were all about computers, programming, coding and programming languages……..Classes were moved mainly to NLB. when i walked past the graphics lab; saw my juniors with drafters , i thought “missing the drawing lab a lot, mechanical engineering- should had an intrest for that” To be frank have not even put any effort to know what actually is taught in it.Only knwldge and point of intrest in that was “machine drawing”….
For the first tym when i talked to a Safety and fire senior..she realy inspired me. Then thought”should had made a difference: missed the chance, y did nt i think of SF???”. With that curiocity just made an effort to understand what is it all about………….
Thinking of CROs in electrical lab i never had any intrest towards Electronics and communication nor the Electrical and electronics engineering. but for just 1 reason when my dear friend talked about the studious minds and the dedicated teachers and endless chain of special classes(xcluding my lovely friend), i admire those two departments. Still to flourish my electronics knowledge i am blessed with ECLD lab in my IT syllabus..
and finally when i saw the survey labs and field works of civil. Realy thought “days must have been rly great if thought of civil engineering before” .But then it had “mechanics”- it gives me a grusome image.
so other than their labs……i felt no passion for civil engineering…………..
Sitting relaxed in the easy chair , facing the flat screen with google @ my finger tip ,programming, compiling, running them i realise “i walked into CUSAT to walk out as an engineer..and IT being the best way to program an engineer in me”
i do understand all these are just the gratifying thoughts in the curious mind of any normal engineering student who never had a graven image of college life;who strolled all over the campus………………:)
