CUSAT Football team came up as WINNER on the AHAS Ever Rolling Football Tournament. It was conducted at KMEA Engineering College, Edathala,Aluva. Our CUSAT Champions team got a trophy which was a ever shining feather to the CUSAT history of Sports . The medals were distributed to the team members by I.M Vijayan who is one of the best Football players in the nation at present.
Day 3 – Final Match – CUSAT v/s KMEA
Players stayed strong and the performance sums up the improvement of the CUSAT team in general.Strikers and Backup team has clearly provided a strategic element to CUSAT‘s fast paced game and at times, there performance was a joy to watch. The KMEA Guys had a pure defence just enhances the view and the less number of talented strikers made the way to their defeat. It may not have been a win, but surely the performance and organization of the team was enough to silence many of critics.
