Boys cornered the top ranks in the Common Admission Test (CAT 2017) for the B. Tech courses conducted by the Cochin University of Science and Technology ( CUSAT) , the results of which were announced here on Wednesday.
Shafil Maheen. N of Tirur, Malappuram won the first rank in the CAT for B. Tech courses. Anand George of Pala, Kottayam and Jeswin Koshy Cherian of Pakkil, Kottayam bagged the second and third ranks respectively. Jishin Chand K. C of Nullipady, Kasaragod won the first rank in the SC/ST category. Results are available at www.cusat.nic.in.
An official release said that eligible candidates can register their options online from May 18. More details can be had from 0484- 2862256/2577159. CAT was held on April 29 and 30 at 104 centres across the country and Dubai.
