About Xplendor 2015
Xplendor’15 ,is the annual techno cultural fest hosted by the school of engineering, Cusat, Aimed at inspiring innovation, technical interest among students, and awareness among the public. The flagship event hosts programs from all walks of engineering from fun science to robotics. The entertainment nights add up to the ambience of the event.From hosting the world largest Maker party in Kochi, and the crowd pulling NIRMAAN’14, in a span of 2 months, the grounds are all poised for another extravaganza to complete its winning streak.
Xplendor features a blend of competitions, workshops, demonstrations, exhibitions, quizzes, model displays and management events. Events ranging from Robotics to Coding, Electronics, Managerial and online events adds up to the diversity of programs. The mind bending competitions and event formats truly test your worth as an engineer and an innovator. Events like diffusing bombs, cracking circuits, designing robots will leave you with a profound respect for those little capacitors and resistors which up until then, you had simply ignored. A spectrum of other events, Quizzes for the inquisitive, adventures and treasures for the daring, will have you queuing up and coming back for more. The cultural entertainments showcased by the finest define a class of its own. The widely acclaimed proshow alone attracts hundreds of new visitors every year. Come the nights and let yourself lose in the mesmerising treat of light, music and dance like never before.
With big corporate companies like Tata Consultancy Service, media giants’ partnership and extensive social media publicity, Xplendor becomes a hot spot for brand recognition and brand promotion. Complete funding for the event comes from corporate sponsorship and
alumni contribution. Striking the perfect synergic chord would upshot the interests of the event and the sponsor giving a win-win situation.
The fest attracts thousands of visitors to the campus annually, and is one of the biggest cultural fests in Kerala.
