The Department of Physics at Cochin University of Science and Technology in collaboration with SPIE CUSAT Students Chapter and IUCAA Resource Centre is organizing a five day workshop on ‘Physics-Scope and Awareness’ for class X students from April 6.
The workshop envisages to provide an opportunity to students to interact with the faculty members, and also witness some of the advanced experiments being carried-out in the research laboratories of the department of Physics and also to gain hands on experience on various core experiments in Physics, telescope making etc.
- There is no fee for participation in the workshop.
- No T.A/D.A will be paid to the participating candidates.
- Candidates are required to make their own arrangents for their stay during the workshop. However, accommodation will be provided to outstation candidates depending on the availability of rooms in the university hostels and guest house on a payment basis.
How to apply
Students are required to apply in the format given and the applications must be duly recommended by the respective Heads of the Institutions. Due to the limited number of seats, only one student may be encouraged from an institution. Incomplete applications will be rejected. Final selection will be made by the department and the selected students will be informed through telephone.
